When something is broken, I won't wait to fix it

When Abigail was born, she was unable to swallow and in intensive care, but insurance rules forced me out of the hospital after just 24 hours. I had never held office, but I got to work and got the law changed so that didn't happen to other Minnesota moms. That’s how I will lead as Governor – when something is broken, I won't wait to fix it.
